Over the past 40 years, the average size of a new house in the United States has dramatically increased – and Americans, on average, build some of the largest houses in the world. Last year, the average home size constructed in the U.S. reached almost 2,600 square feet – an all-time high for the country.
One such person who wanted to rethink the idea of home was Christopher Smith, who, as his 30th birthday approached, decided to buy a plot of land and build a tiny house with his girlfriend.
“We provide a series of rotating films from family-friendly to mature themed films and documentaries,” the church said. “This month we are viewing a timely documentary dealing with shrinking economics and the shrinking American dream.”
All are welcome to attend this free event.
